Life Resolutions Clayfield

Our practice uses a cognitive behavioural approach called ACT- Acceptance Commitment Therapy as the basis for the practice. ACT incorporates many strategies from a broad range of traditions; mindfulness, finding meaning, behavioural activation, and compassion for the self and others. 

 

We also specialise in relationship work. Our aim, when working with couples or families, is to identify the needs and values of those involved and create a sense of co-operation and teamwork that transcends the therapy room. Through increasing awareness of the other in relationships, other aspects are allowed to come forth more easily such as good communication, empathy, acts of kindness and a renewed sense of vitality.
